In April 2025, we had the absolute honour of helping Jane & Nick plan their private property wedding.
Jane wanted to get married at her parent’s property as it holds a place close to her heart. The only catch, it’s located in Taroom, 6 hours North West of Brisbane. So ourselves along with 14 other suppliers, hit the road and air to bring her vision to life. Suppliers travelled from all over including Brisbane, Toowoomba and Newcastle.
Set on 100’s of acres of farming land, their family property has breathtaking 360 views and Jane’s father even build a custom arch and stone signing table for the ceremony.
In our travels we saw lots of wallabies, a frill neck lizard and even a wedge tail eagle up close.
Jane loves anything bright and bold so KD Flower and I worked on this super bright floral palette to contrast against the earthy background of the property. The focal point of the day was the ceremony with the elevated view and HUGE arbour, so we created a concept that would be absolutely show stopping for Jane & Nick’s guests.
In the marquee, we included a selection of floral arrangements, no two the same. Jane even purchased a selection of hand painted ceramics for several of the tables to add an extra level of eccentricity to her table scape.
To play on the theme of sunflowers, Peggy & Polly created a die-cut sunflower menu with each guests name on one side and the menu on the other.
There were so many tiny well thought out details from Jane including a personalised note for all 144 of Jane & Nick’s guests.

Lead singer of Brisbane Band, Sheppard, George Sheppard married his long term partner Kathleen at Cabarita’s insta famous house “Casa Campana”.
Previously owned by Peppa Hart owner, Sophie Bell, Casa Campana is now available to hire for small weddings and events.
Kathleen was joined by her 2 sisters as well as fellow Sheppard band mates, Amy & Emma Sheppard. George shared the day with his 2 best friends and brother in laws, Lachie and Liam.
Guests opted to stay local in Cabarita to join the couple for a wedding long weekend which involved a recovery session by the pool the following day.
It was such an honour to be involved in George and Kathleen’s big day after planning the wedding of George’s sister Amy back in 2022.

Sydney based couple Georgia & Marc decided to host their destination wedding at The Calile Hotel on James Street, Brisbane. The Theme was formal, romantic and elegant with fluffy cloud like flowers and a wedding cake that looks like art.
Guests were welcomed by a string quartette on arrival and the evening concluded with a live band a strictly ballroom type performance by none other than the winners of Dancing with The Stars.

‘Hiring Danielle was the best decision we made for our wedding. She weathered the dreaded global pandemic postponement, along with all the logistical potholes that entails, with grace, professionalism, and good humour. She wasn’t afraid of coordinating our tacky, whacky Simpsons themed wedding and took the time to get to know us as individuals so that she could support us to make best-fit decisions. Her knowledge of the industry was second to none and her calm demeanour, responsiveness and candour were all essential to the smooth running of our wedding. We had the night of our lives and couldn’t recommend her enough!’

Amy’s vision was an elegant yet fun wedding in tropical paradise. Rather than having a single day event, Amy and Lachie decided to have their friends and family spend and entire week in Airlie Beach celebrating their nuptials. Their tropical luxe themed wedding wasn’t the only thing tropical throughout the week with their guests spending their days snorkelling off White Haven Beach, brunching along jetties and sipping welcome cocktails by the water.
Hosted by Airlie Beach’s most exclusive private estate, Paradise Cove, their guests felt as though they were worlds away as they arrived by bus into the 100km wide property. On arrival they were welcomed with coconuts filled with Amy and Lachie’s very own personalised cocktails, Lachie’s Cocky & Geronimo Juice!
The beachside ceremony was followed by boozy ice blocks to help keep guests cool and an oyster bar (one of Amy’s favourites). As Amy & Lachie poured a giant champagne tower, their guests were serenaded by the acoustic stylings of Total Entertainment.
Being anything but traditional, Amy wore blue from head to toe (literally)! Her bespoke blue gown by Ella Moda sat perfectly amongst her signature blue hair and custom designed Hogan’s Jeweller blue engagement ring.
Lachie was dressed by MJ Bale.
Custom cocktails, Fireworks and a personalised song which Amy performed for Lachie were just a handful of the final touches brought together for the big day. Amy & Lachie also had their close friend help them choreograph an incredible first dance to a mash up of some of their favourite songs.
‘Til Death Events did a stellar job of pulling together their dream ‘tropical-luxe’ day, giving them all the paradise feels they ever could’ve wanted. “We wanted a tropical theme but we also wanted to keep it modern,” shares Amy, who’s a member of Brisbane indie pop band Sheppard. “Our wedding planner presented the term ‘tropical-luxe’, which I think describes our day perfectly. We wanted it to be beachy but no sand and no frangipanis.” Men’s health coach Lachie’s casj M.J. Bale linen suit was total coastal vibes, Amy’s powder-blue dress was something from a fairytale. I couldn’t have been happier with the vendors I chose. Everyone was so professional and really understood our vision. Danielle, our wedding planner from Til Death Events, was incredible and she was there whenever we needed her.’

Bold vibrant colours and dinosaurs. Enough said!
A red and pink paradise mixed with tulle, tinsel, candlelight and a confetti explosion. Tiny dinosaurs were hidden throughout the styling and Nicola and Carl’s stationery had a consistent theme of lightening bolts and heart shaped everything.

Felicity and Simon were married at their family church in Toowong followed by an intimate dinner for 30 guests at Brisbane’s famous Enoteca restaurant where they enjoyed a lavish 5 course feast.
Breaking the traditional style of wedding cake plated for dessert, Fliss and Simon opted to serve cake post ceremony paired with champagne. Their wedding cake was designed and made by Gillian Bell who also stayed after the ceremony to assist with plating cake for guests.
With the pressure of covid border closures, Fliss decided to leave the planning to be pulled together within a short timeline to try and avoid the risk of postponement. When we first spoke less than 3 months before the wedding, Fliss had only secured her photographer, Tessa Shannon and their ceremony location. We worked together to plan the final details and with only a slight covid scare a few weeks prior, as well as a minor delay (the driver accidentally left with the bouquets in the boot of the car!) the wedding went off without a hitch.
In the theme of keeping their wedding small and intimate, Fliss kept her bridal party limited to her twin sister and Simon to his best man. They were also accompanied by their two nieces as well as their daughters, both with the same name and also the reason they crossed paths.
After sitting next to each other with their daughters during story time at The Brisbane Library, they discovered that they both had little girls with the same name, the rest as they say is history.

When I first chatted to Ella about her wedding stying, we quickly lost track of time and after I hung up the phone I fell down a visual rabbit hole of velvety red roses, Lana Del Rey and The Vampire Lestat.
We both agreed that without being over the top, the styling should feel eternally romantic. We mixed deep reds with pops of black candles whilst keeping the linen neutral to avoid the overall aesthetic from feeling too moody. When the day arrived, it was cold and crisp and the mood felt floaty and euphoric.
In a bespoke tulle gown, Ella emulated what can only be described as a tie between Glinda the good witch and Dracula’s bride.
Ella & Dane were kind enough to leave these words:
‘Til Death Events / Danielle were SO incredible. I had gotten in touch with her earlier in the year to help with decorating and on the day organisation for our August wedding and when I tell you that this gal is EVERYTHING I mean it.
If anyone is even slightly overwhelmed or unsure thinking of how to have their setup/how to get in touch with vendors or how to source decorations/ help with inspo you name it, would 100000% recommend contacting Danielle.
After our first FaceTime I felt immediately at ease and knew that we were in terrific hands and that we had stumbled upon someone that really knows her craft and her industry.
Danielle made everything so easy and immediately knew the vibe and feel that we wanted for our day. Everything was absolutely perfect, moody and romantic just like we wanted.
Til death/ Danielle went above and beyond for us, even helping to steam my dress on the day. She is a ray of sunshine who lit up the room when she arrived ready to set up, definitely the kind of vibe you want from someone that’s helping to make your day what you envisioned.
I can’t speak highly enough about Danielle she is honestly the best!’

Carlie originally reached out to me as she had seen me on Hello May as well as Instagram. Given she and Josh were living in rural Western Australia at the time, she felt it would be helpful to have some local wedding knowledge on her side. Having worked at Ardeena previously, we could get started on styling right away. The vibe was minimalistic, classic and romantic. Carlie opted for lots and lots of candles and we kept the running theme of “GONE BUSH” from the initial (thanks covid) invitations to a custom neon sign by Neon Republic.
Ardeena Estate is the sister venue of Summergrove, nestled in the rolling hills of Carool NSW, it is a DIY venue which allows you to build a bespoke event. With onsite cabins, the property allows for accomodation for you and your loved ones. It is also home to some beautiful birdlife and offers a sweeping view of the Coolangatta skyline.
Wanting to bring a feeling of intimacy to their large guest list, Carlie and Josh opted for a feasting style menu which was presented down the length of three long tables. They presented speeches and champagne on the lawn during cocktail hour so their guests could experience a relaxed canapé hour and after dinner, their casual acoustic entertainment switched into party mode with a DJ to bring the dance floor to life.

’Til Death Events were amazing from start to finish. I hired Danielle for styling and on-the-day coordination for our April wedding and it was, hands-down, the best investment I made across the whole event.
Danielle was professional, calm, super creative, and went above and beyond to create our dream wedding. Her styling skills are second to none, and she made us feel confident that everything would run smoothly on the day.
Danielle was always on hand throughout the entire process if I had any questions or needed help with making decisions – including supporting us when a COVID lockdown was imminent 1.5 weeks before the wedding date. Thank you, Danielle, you have been such a joy to work with and you brought our dream wedding to life.’
With meticulous attention to detail and a passion for all things interiors, as well as a keen eye for architecture, it made perfect sense that Charlotte and Andrew had chosen The Calile Hotel to tie the knot.
We worked with the venue’s existing colour palette as well as Charlotte and Andrew’s love of texture to bring their styling to life. Although they chose to keep their guest list intimate, each styling element was thought out in great detail to give their small guest list a truly lavish (3 course) dinner experience.
Consistency from start to finish which oozed romance and felt effortless in its beauty. We added texture through the lush florals by Yukari Botanicals as well as beautifully draped linens and natural stone elements. As Charlotte is a lover of fine stationery, Laura Elizabeth finished the styling off with beautifully crafted signage and stationery which matched the guest’s invitation suites.
In addition to their strong eye for detail, Charlotte and Andrew also carefully hand selected their wedding suppliers, listed below.

James and Amy held both the ceremony and reception at one of my favourite Brisbane venues, The Refinery with a carefully selected group of Brisbane suppliers to bring the day to life.
After two postponements, they managed to time their final wedding date perfectly. It almost felt like destiny in what had been a very disappointing year as their wedding went off without a hitch. With limited restrictions, they were able to mingle with their guests and invite everyone to an open dancefloor.
Both being big Harry Potter fans, I wanted to incorporate a feeling of magic in their styling without diving into a “themed” wedding. We suspended fluffy clouds of babies breath sprinkled with fairy lights above guests in a hope of mimicking the night sky without being as obvious as suspending fake candles from the ceiling. These small elements throughout the styling created just a hint of what I hope everyone feels when they see the Great Hall in all its glory.
As well as being Harry Potter and Star Wars obsessed, James and Amy are huge fans of Caricaturist art and have a collection in their home. For some additional entertainment for their guests, they had an artist sketch their family and friends throughout the night giving them a wonderful keepsake to take home with them.
James & Amy were kind enough to leave these lovely words:
‘I’ve tried to write this a few times but I can’t put into words how grateful we are that we found Danielle and Til Death Events.
Danielle really saved my sanity when it came to planning (and postponing x 2) our wedding. I’m an anxious, control freak but Danielle made me feel so calm and I had complete confidence she’d plan the perfect day that represented us as a couple.
To say she nailed it would be the world’s biggest understatement. Our day was the happiest, best day of our lives and that‘s all thanks to Danielle. I will be raving about Til Death Events for years to come. 18389393/10 recommend.’

‘Danielle and the team at Til Death are absolutely amazing. My partner and I got married recently and had Til Death on board for Partial Planning + Styling. We had the venue and a few other vendors booked so it was great that Til Death offers a partial planning option.
We honestly weren’t sure we would get a planner, but thought we would enquire and then make up our minds. Our first meeting with Danielle was great, she took the time to focus on what we wanted, as well as the things we weren’t really sure about. Overall, we just felt comforted by Danielle’s great advice and ideas so it was a no brainer to go ahead with the planning and styling.
The styling was beautiful. The ceremony and reception areas looked absolutely stunning. Danielle was able to pull our ‘BOHO but not BOHO, rustic but not rustic’ ideas into the perfect area for us and our guests to celebrate.
Throughout the planning of the wedding Danielle was open and honest about costs and options, easy to communicate with on a regular basis, and very organised. We had a lot of very vague ideas that Danielle was able to transform into reality.
My partner and I had almost no stress coming into the wedding day, we didnt need to sweat the little details because we knew Danielle was all over it. Being able to truly relax and enjoy the wedding day and the days around it was amazing, the last thing you want to be doing is stressing over little details on your big day.
Danielle also acted as a source of reassurance for us this year with planning a wedding during COVID. If we didnt have Danielle, we probably would have postponed or drastically changed our plans. Some parts of the wedding going ahead as originally planned are by chance, BUT I know that we would have pulled the pin if Danielle wasn’t reassuring us and moving forward with the plans.
We honestly can’t rate Danielle and Til Death highly enough. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding because of they’re amazing support and services. I would book Til Death events again in a heartbeat.’

I think we’re all in the same boat when I say ‘2020 has been a strange year’. What was looking to be our biggest and most creative year yet, has turned into an unplanned hiatus from weddings and styling in general.
Fortunately, the beautiful folk at Hampton Event Hire put their thinking hats on and came up with a stunning new studio space for us “wedding vendors” to create some magic.
It’s safe to say, after months and months of having zero creative outlet, the result is absolute colour bomb with hints of holographic elements and not one but THREE different bridal looks. All designed and handmade by Jennifer Gifford Designs specifically for this shoot.
To top it all off, an oval confetti cake that is adorned with a mountain of silver candles, flowers and iridescent toppers. Because after all, after months of quarantine, I think we all needed a giant slice of confetti cake and a day in the studio creating with our best friends.
I hope you all enjoy this shoot as much as I enjoyed dreaming the concept and bringing it to life with the help of all these wonderful humans.

‘What started as contacting you on a whim by mere attraction to the namesake of your company turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made in this whole wedding process. Thank you for being so understanding and patient, and reassuring me through my occasional bouts of anxiety. Thank you for taking care of the logistics and scheduling, so that we didn’t have to. ‘Danielle and the team at Til Death Events couldn’t have impressed us any more than they did throughout the process of planning our wedding to the big day itself. No question or request was too big for Danielle to handle and still to this day, I’m shocked that I can say I had no stress surrounding our wedding.
Danielle took the time from our very first meet to really get to know my partner and I and it was her priority to make sure we were happy and had our needs met throughout the entire experience. As well as being incredibly proactive, Danielle was always so friendly and welcoming. I cannot imagine planning a wedding alone and am thankful that we met Danielle as when we look back at the most amazing day of our lives, we have her to thank for how seamless and perfect it truly was.’ Sian and Joel

So you’re engaged, you want to start planning your wedding and you’ve thought about hiring a wedding stylist, but what exactly does a bespoke wedding stylist do?
These are the most common questions we are asked when we meet new couples at a fair or event. Even meeting a couple for the first time, they often have a lot of questions when it comes to what exactly it is that we can do and what we can offer to them.
You’ve probably heard the term “stylist” for what feels like the millionth time since you got engaged but what do we actually do?
The thing about you and your fiancé or your business if you’re a corporate client is that you’re completely unique and unlike any other person or couple or business model. We feel that just like you, your event should be unique as well, so rather than sell you the same old cookie cutter styling package, we build your event from the ground up.
So what does that even mean and how does it all happen? We’ve put together the following stages to hopefully explain what Styling is and if it could be suited to you:
Both of our styling services include the same level of creative energy, we simply add more labour under Full Styling. This means it’s suitable for larger sized events or events at private properties with lots of setting up. Limited Styling is suitable for smaller weddings or venue based events.

There’s something certainly very special about styling for fellow wedding industry friends and Mikayla and Josh were no exception. Aside from the fact that they were getting married at one of our favourite venues, the colour palette Mikayla was drawing inspiration from made styling their big day an absolute dream.
When the day arrived we were met with some pretty intense winds and rain on and off for most of the day forcing us to move their outdoor ceremony indoors. What was meant as a “Plan B” could not have looked more incredible and Mikayla and Josh were married in an intimate and cosy setting surrounded by all of their closest people.
As they ceremony concluded and they walked outside to mingle with their guests, the skies cleared and a huge rainbow appeared to accompany a truly incredible Summergrove sunset.
‘I don’t even know where to begin, Danielle deserves 100 stars out of 5. Til Death Events was hands down the best investment we made for our wedding.
Being in the wedding industry myself I thought I would be able to do everything and plan everything on my own, but after one conversation with Dan I knew I needed to bite the bullet and hand over the reigns to someone who actually knows what they are doing.
Originally we had planned for our entire wedding to be outdoors, but Dan made sure every element could also be used indoors. And of course it rained so we had to go with our Plan B option. Dan made sure I was not stressed on the day and that she had everything covered. When the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle and I saw everything for the first time I was absolutely blown away with how incredible everything looked (it was even better than what it ever would’ve been outside!)
It’s the little touches and Dan’s super calm personality that really makes her the best planner/stylist in the industry, she treats you like a friend and honestly throws her heart and soul into your day which is exactly what you need so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the day with your new husband/wife!’ – Mikayla and Josh

Honia and Jay first contacted me shortly after getting engaged after 9 years and 2 children long together. They had planned to marry on their 10 year anniversary and wanted it to be an intimate affair in the Tweed or Byron hinterland.
As I met them so early in the planning process we ventured into the Tweed trail together to inspect venues and Ardeena was love at first site for both Hon and Jay. Not only did it have exceptional views but was also secluded and silent. As the venue is dry hire it also allowed for them to have their favourite plant-based restaurant, Greenhouse, cater the event.
As Honia and Jay are both devote vegans, the wedding would be 100% plant based with sustainability in mind. The end goal was to create a space which felt like their home. As they have a beautiful crystal collection the final touch was the gift of rose quartz and citrine for each of their guests.
The day was filled with floods of tears, love and friendship. I feel eternally grateful you both entered my life and became lifelong friends.
FOREVER IN LOVE.

What to say about Chloe and Gavin, well for starters, talk about a relaxed duo. In all my time in the wedding industry I have never come across a bride quite as cool and collected as Chloe. Aside from being cool as cucumbers, Chloe and Gavin have amazing class and style which made styling their wedding an absolute dream.
As Chloe’s family are in the printing biz, signage and design would become a focal point in the styling. From the giant acrylic seating chart to the personalised floor decals, there was not a single element left out when it came to details.
They made every decision so easy and we went into the day knowing it was going to be a success rain, hail or shine because they knew that it didn’t matter what happened, they were marrying each other and that’s all that mattered. Not even a last minute case of gastro for the bride could ruin their day and with the amazing staff at Ancora taking over for the evening, the night went off without a hitch.
There is something very special and humbling to receiving an elated text message from your couple while they are AT THEIR WEDDING to thank you for styling their day to perfection.

Rose Quartz – purifies and opens the heart at all levels. It is the stone of universal and unconditional love.
A few weeks ago we decided to bring to life a modern play on monochrome, young love and flowers which could be mistaken for a work of art.
Located in Newstead’s brand spanking new warehouse venue, we wanted to work with the edgy existing style in the space whilst still creating a feeling of whimsy and romance. We lined the tables with black and white wire chairs on opposite sides and paired them with either black or white flatware to contrast. The table was then brought to life with soft blush coloured plates and florals which appeared to be floating on clouds.
Rather than create a garden of foliage and florals, our floral stylist, Bloodwood Botanica created minimal but simplistically perfect floral arrangements. We also added a modern twist on a wedding classic by suspending pink sprayed babies breath from the ceiling, again which appeared to be floating in a cloud. The mix of babies breath amongst large feature roses created a beautiful fullness and texture without the need for foliage.
Our bride and groom are dressed in classic and modern attire however their youth is apparent by their playfulness and relaxed affection for each other.

What to say about Britt & Elliott?! When you meet a bride that “knows colours”, it is everything. Not only did she know colours, but she also knew Adobe, meaning she could bring all of our design concepts to life whilst keeping them beautifully consistent.
They were to be married amongst their closest family and friends at Vieille Branche in a casual cocktail setting. But instead of the traditional Bride arrives and walks down the isle, Britt and Elliott decided to do it their way. They began the day getting ready together with their bridal party, hit the streets with Tennille Fink to get some beautiful pics and then head over to VB to meet their guests as an amazing, progressive, unmarried couple about to make it official.
Cut to after the “I Do’s” and Britt and Elliott were ready to party having had their portraits taken prior to the reception. They spent the evening feasting thanks to Something For Catering and dancing alongside DJ In Your House.
The entire afternoon and evening felt exactly like Britt and Elliott, they had their day THEIR way.
Fun fact, Elliott is of Hungarian descent so during the styling process I did a bit of research into Hungarian phrases and during my travels I came across this beautiful poem:
Szeretlek, szeretlek, szeretlek,
egész nap kutatlak, kereslek,
egész nap sírok a testedért,
szomorú kedves a kedvesért,
egész nap csókolom testedet,
csókolom minden percedet.
Minden percedet csókolom,
nem múlik ízed az ajkamon,
csókolom a földet, ahol jársz,
csókolom a percet, mikor vársz,
messziről kutatlak, kereslek,
szeretlek, szeretlek, szeretlek.
Translates…
I love you, I love you, I love you,
All day I search for you, I seek you,
All day I cry for your body,
A sad darling for the darling,
All day I kiss your body,
kiss you every minute,
Your every minute I kiss,
Your taste lingers on my lips,
I kiss the ground where you go,
I kiss the minute when you wait,
From afar I search you, I seek you,
I love you, I love you, I love you.

Emma and I first crossed paths at The Wedding Harvest last year where we chatted about her hope to get married sometime the following year however she was unsure how to get started. Not long after the fair, Emma was in touch to arrange an official consultation to get the ball rolling and before we knew it, Emma and Craig were scheduled to be married at Black Bear Lodge the following September.
During our first meeting, the biggest issue Emma and Craig were facing was trying to decide where exactly to get married. They wanted a fun and intimate wedding without having to leave Brisbane and most importantly, they wanted it to feel like them. Black Bear Lodge didn’t just prove to be a good choice aesthetically, it was also a place they had frequented together often as a couple and seemed like a familiar space to hold their wedding.
Jump forward 7 months and the day was consistently all about Emma and Craig. The bride dressed in an incredible sequined gold gown with bright and vibrant florals, brownies instead of wedding cake and a champagne tower to replace cutting of the cake.
Emma & Craig were lovely enough to leave these kind words:
‘I met Danielle of Him & Her Events at the 2016 Wedding Harvest in Brisbane. I had been engaged for a couple of months and wanted to get married within the next 12 months however my partner and I were having difficulty

Anna and I had a case of sliding doors for well over a year before we finally met. When we finally met there was more sliding doors but long story short, she asked me to style her wedding at our absolute favourite Brisbane wedding venue, Brisbane Racing Club.
A mix of raw timbers and lush green foliage with copper undertones, Anna and Zack’s big day was anything but minimal.
Two long feasting tables lined the entire length of the Tote Room to accommodate for their 144 guests. Included on those tables was myself, the photographer and the videographer. Proof of the generous and welcoming people that Anna and Zack are, inviting their wedding vendors to eat dinner with them to show them how much they appreciate them.
Anna and I may have just missed each other on more than one occasion but the universe had bigger plans for us because this became one of the proudest styling moments of my career so far.
Testimonial
‘I have NEVER met a more organised, calm and patient person in my life! especially one with four kids! our wedding would not have even been made possible without Danielle! I am the laziest control freak ever and my husband hates not doing things on his own/trusting people with a job that he could also do, but Danielle just came into our lives in a very hilarious way, took the reigns and made the most magical day happen for us! it also didn’t hurt that Danielle is best buds with all of our vendors that I had chosen before we got H&H on board! At no point did Zack or I worry about anything, Danielle always made sure that I was reassured and kept in the loop about everything. The styling of our ceremony and reception venue was EXACTLY what I had imagined it to look like but could never have pulled together myself. the day ran so smoothly and even when I left my garter at home, Danielle was there with her mini sewing kit to whip me up a new one!
Zack and I owe Danielle more than a five star review on facebook to thank her for everything she did to make our wedding day the most perfect day! if you’re undecided about getting someone to help you with any part of planning your wedding, talk to Danielle, and I promise you will not be let down!’ – Anna & Zack

Sophisticated grunge – lavish floral styling, raw interiors and cow skulls featured consistently throughout. Real life couple Matt & Jemma proved that there are no rules when it comes to your wedding day.
The Brightside, a popular music venue in the heart of Fortitude Valley gave us the perfect backdrop for any couple wanting to tie the knot in a less traditional fashion. Keeping our colour palette dark and moody we displayed custom designed posters created by September Creative throughout the venue. The table was topped with OTT romantic florals by Kate Dawes floral design and lined with gold flatware and crystal cut glassware for some added luxury.
Although dressed in a modern tea length gown by Love Found True, our bride added her own touch by completing her look with a pair of her own boots while our groom opted to wear clothing from his own wardrobe.
No fake wedding would be complete without a rad celebrant like Paul Vóge, the sweet tunes of Steven Childs and a mammoth confetti toss directed by Kristina Childs from behind her lens.

Danita & Gav opted for our Full Planning & Styling package to make their ‘Adora Downs’ wedding come together with as little stress as possible. Think romance, classic Californian style and hints of cheeky cheeseburgers everywhere.
As a creative himself, Gav was incredibly involved in the entire process, most prominently selecting the perfect Photographer. Justin Ma was the natural choice and provided both film and digital options on the day to truly capture the beauty shared between the new Mr & Mrs Parry.
In addition to our services we also offered prop hire and full lighting installation. Both our classic festoons were strung across the dancefloor and accompanied by our assortment of hanging Edison bulbs. Our Edisons were tied together perfectly by the giant green installation created by Green & Bloom.
The 3 long banquet tables were adorned with pale linen napkins, gold flatware & candles as far as the eye could see. Throughout the room was scatters of gold and posy vases filled with roses so incredible they resembled black velvet.
In order to keep the ceremony incredibly personal, Danita & Gav opted to have their close friend Danielle marry them. They also included their beloved furbaby JT who donned a classic tux and bowlers hat.
‘Danielle understood what we wanted for our special day from the first time we met. Nothing was too difficult, or too farfetched, and the vendors HIM & HER recommended were top notch. Even the last minute bridezilla (and groomzilla) moments and budget panic were masterfully handled. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives thanks to Him & Her Events’
